Welcome to the Hmong Bobtail Club of America
Established 2023
HBCA is the first breed club dedicated to the ethical preservation and ownership of Hmong Bobtail dogs in the U.S.

Club Goals
We are a passionate group of enthusiasts committed to the preservation, protection, and education of the Hmong Bobtail dogs. The HBCA was formed with the intent to promote the Hmong Bobtails outside Vietnam and share this wonderful breed with the world. In Fall 2023, our founding members imported four Hmong Bobtails from Vietnam to begin learning about them and gain hands on experience with the breed. Some of our long-term goals are:
-
Study their overall health, genetics, and temperament.
-
Title and participate in sports that the breed can excel in.
-
Continue their legacy by honoring their cultural purpose and history.
-
Educate and promote this breed to the world responsibly.
-
Gain breed recognition in the U.S. and internationally someday.
